This week on Sunday our class had our Christmas program. It was lots of fun. We have started on our Christmas gifts for our parents. We also practiced singing in the choir for Midnight Mass. We read The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. We get to watch the movie of it on Monday next week, and we are so excited!
This week Mr. Minnich taught the 5th graders multiplying decimals, and Ms. Edmundson taught science. In science we learned about the water cycle. Plus, we did this awesome experiment in which we made a cloud. The sad thing is that this is the block teachers last week. With the Christmas program going on this weekend we've been practicing like crazy. If you have time please come on down to Church at 12:45 on Sunday, December 13 to see an awesome show!
This week we learned Spanish colors and "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes.", Also we learned the days of the week in Spanish. Everyone in the classroom likes Spanish.
We now have two Block Teachers who teach science, social studies, math, reading, Spanish. We are working on the Christmas Program. |
